Our Story

We Started Serving
the Community in 2016

One Body One Family is a community-based Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) in Uganda with certificate number TTV.DIV/154/2020. We started in 2016 with the aim of working with orphaned and vulnerable young people to improve their safety and physical, spiritual, and emotional health and future well-being.

The organisation's target population is orphaned and street children — many of whom have been orphaned by HIV, abandoned, or victimised by family violence. We currently rent a home for vulnerable children where the Director and the children stay together as a family.

Children living in the home are taught the Bible and are provided with shelter, food, love, and education. In addition, the organisation assists other vulnerable children in the community through OBOF Junior School and provides counselling, health care, and scholarships.

We work with orphaned and vulnerable young people to improve their safety and physical, spiritual, and emotional health — through feeding programs, education, counselling, and spiritual care.

📍 Where We Work

We operate primarily in Mityana district, Uganda, and extend outreach activities to surrounding communities, serving children in villages, slums, and street environments around the country.
