The Children's Home was started in 2016 as a home for orphans. Currently there are 46 children living in the home, ranging in age from 4 to 14 years old. The One Body One Family leadership rescued these children and brought them to live in this loving family environment in the small rural village of Kikumambogo.
These children enjoy a normal childhood now with clean beds, good food, school, family chores, and time for playing. On Sundays they sing and play drums at church. Most importantly, these children are growing with faith in Christ.
The staff and the Director live together in the same house. These orphans and street kids are loved and cared for as they receive food, clothing, medical care, and an education at OBOF Junior School. Their lives are transformed as they study the Bible, attend church, and become disciples of Jesus Christ.
Every child in the home is given everything they need to thrive physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
