Covid-19 Response

Hand washing and hygiene

Covid-19 &
Our Community

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. Most people who fall sick with COVID-19 will experience mild to moderate symptoms and recover without special treatment.

How it spreads: The virus that causes COVID-19 is mainly transmitted through droplets generated when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or exhales. You can be infected by breathing in the virus if you are within close proximity of someone who has COVID-19, or by touching a contaminated surface and then your eyes, nose, or mouth.

One Body One Family has fought coronavirus in the different communities of Mityana by educating the community and providing preventive measures.

Our Covid-19
Response

One Body One Family has actively fought coronavirus in the different communities of Mityana. We have educated the community, giving them preventive measures and ensuring the safety of all the children in our care.

We distributed hygiene supplies, promoted hand washing, and maintained social distancing at OBOF Junior School. Our outreach teams visited slum communities to spread awareness and protect the most vulnerable.

We continue to monitor public health guidance and keep our children and staff safe at all times.
